This
'74 Pro has been treated roughly, but actually had very few miles racked
up on it when I became its third owner. I rebuit it and used it as a commuter
until a driver ran a red light one evening and T-boned me and the bike.
I broke a couple of ribs and the bike's frame was totaled, though most
of the components survived. They'll be installed on a replacement frame
that I already have scored, a '70 Raleigh Pro in the brown-mink/silver
paint scheme, just as soon as I can get some cooperation from Allstate
Insurance Company, which feels that no 30 year old racing bike could be
worth more than $300. I have included photos of the MkII Pro frame as
well.
